Terms of service

These are the plain terms for using Muv. By installing Muv through TestFlight and using the app, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.

The beta

Muv is currently an invite-only beta distributed through Apple's TestFlight. That means it's a work in progress: features may change, break, or be removed, and builds may expire. We offer the beta as-is, without any promise that it will be available, complete, or uninterrupted.

Muv is not medical advice

Muv is an informational dashboard, not a medical device. The numbers it shows - steps, flights, heart-rate zones, and the rest - are there to help you notice patterns over time. They are not a diagnosis, and they are not a substitute for professional judgment.

Do not use Muv to diagnose, treat, or make decisions about a medical condition. If you have questions about your health, your heart rate, or how much you should be moving, talk to a qualified healthcare professional. If you think you're having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Where the data comes from

Muv reads from Apple Health. The accuracy and completeness of what you see depends on your iPhone, your Apple Watch or other HealthKit sources, and how Apple records that data. Muv clearly marks data that is estimated rather than measured, and it does not invent numbers for days it has no data for. Even so, Muv can only be as accurate as the data underneath it.

Acceptable use

Muv is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on your own devices. Please don't:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • interfere with the app's intended operation or security;
  • use Muv in a way that breaks Apple's TestFlight or App Store terms.

Availability

We may update, pause, or end the Muv beta at any time, with or without notice. Because Muv stores your data on your device, ending the beta does not take your existing on-device data away - but a future build may be required to keep using the app.

Disclaimers & liability

Muv is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muv and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app - including any decisions you make based on the information it shows.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Continuing to use Muv after a change means you accept the updated terms.
