Common questions

Muv isn't showing my data

Muv can only read what you've allowed. Open Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Muv and make sure Steps, Flights, Heart Rate, and Workouts are turned on. If you just installed the app, older history can take a little while to import - Muv shows a "backfilling older history" note while it catches up.

Why does a day say "estimated"?

When your iPhone did not directly measure something - like flights during a stair-stepper workout - Muv estimates it from the workout and labels it EST. so you always know what's measured versus inferred. Muv never silently fills in a number it can't stand behind.

A day is blank, not zero

A missing day means Muv has no data for it yet - not that you did not move. It's shown as a dashed, empty bar and is never counted as a real zero. This usually resolves once history finishes importing.

How do I get a beta invite?

The beta runs on Apple's TestFlight and is invite-only. Email [email protected] and we'll send you a TestFlight link. You'll need an iPhone on iOS 18 or later.

How do I delete my data?

Use Delete Muv Data in the app's settings to clear everything Muv has stored, or delete the app to remove it all at once. Muv keeps your data on your device and has no server copy, so there's nothing left behind on our end.

What do I need to run Muv?

An iPhone on iOS 18+, with movement data in Apple Health. An Apple Watch makes heart-rate zones richer, but is not required - your iPhone already records steps and flights on its own.
